Projects

1983 BMW 320i Build

(nearly complete)

This project started with a brake job, and a control arm bushing diagnosis. Options were presented to the customer about various things on the vehicle, and the rabbit hole got deeper. In the end, this E21 got a complete frame on restoration, and we are currenlty in the home stretch, with the fuel injection pump having been rebuilt and ready for installation, and revamping the interior.  This beautiful creation should be ready for the car shows in no time!!

2016 Ford 6.2l Engine Build

(completed)

These 6.2 liter engines are prone to valve spring failure.  This engine was no exception.  It was presented to us with 1-3 intermittently dead holes, and was basically undrivable.  A replacement engine was a bit over budget, so we in housed the repair.  A complete rebuild was performed, including crank polishing, main and rod bearings, rings, honing, decking, vavle lap, valve stem seals and valve springs (to name a few).  It is currently running and back in service..

1969 Chevy Chevelle SS Build

This 1969 Chevelle SS clone was a project of Dans Automotive.  And while we assisted in the complete electrical system wiring, the majorority of all work was perfomed by Dan himself.  This vehicle sat in a garge for 35 years, and was then provided a Fame-Off restoration. With 100% new parts, this thing is finished and ready to be shipped off to the customer.

1951 Chevy CarryAll Build

(under construction)

This wonderfully kept 1951 Chevy CarryAll suffered an engine failure back in the day, and the customer sourced a GM 270 as a replacement.  Unfortunately that engine also suffered a similar fate, and needs to be replaced.  The customer was not too concerned with the direction of the build, but there were certain caveats that made an LS swap unfeasable.  The decision was made to build a custom 292, and the project is currently underway..

Mini Cooper

(under construction)

After suffering a severe overheating event, and then sitting for 6 years, this vehicle was presented to us for an engine swap and some other much needed repairs. It is currently in the shop, being torn down and rebuilt.

Redneck Rodeo

(under construction)

Just a fun weekend trail cruiser, this Suburban has been stripped of its doors and rear decking.  we are currently in the process of fabricating a roll cage for it out of DOM tubing.  It will get an upgrade to leather seats, and HOPEFULLY a new paint coloring sceme..

Rock Bouncer

(under construction)

This one is just going to be a labor of love.  The original intent of the customer was to build the Suburban up with some 46" wheels, and set it on these Rockwell 2.5 ton military axles.. However, this rock crawler frame was presented to the customer and his vision changed.  We are now in the process of restoring the axles, and fabricating the rest of the framework for this project.  We are concidering a Supercharged LS3 engine with close to 1,000 HP..

2017 F150 Timing Chains

no, were not having a garage sale..  This 2017 f150 3.5 had a camshaft phaser start to rattle so bad it threw codes and put the truck into limp mode.  Apparently this service has been done on this rig before..  (probably by the dealer, because the phasers were still the outdated bad ones).  So, we are going to do it one last time (hopefully), with the updated camshaft phasers, and new timing set.
