1983 BMW 320i

One of the major undertakings of this entire project, was disassembling the engine, and updating everything possible.  We checked the cylinder walls and slapped a quick hone down them, followed by new rod bearings, and rings.  (We did not replace the mains, as the rod bearings were in fantastic condition).   We then installed a new cylinder head, and a 284 degree camshaft.

Once we got back around to the inside, (after the dash arrived, reupholstered), we began fitting in the new carpet and console pieces. A minor upgrade to the sound system were 4 channel speakers, and a 10" subwoofer in the trunk.

Other unseen aspects of this projects, that made it a huge learning curve and contributed to the overall quality of the final product included: fitting and welding in a new battery tray, undercoating the entire under side of the vehicle, and replacing all hardware with new factory hardware as we went.

Here are some additional final photographs, and below, are a couple of the YouTube videos, of progress along the way..
